Rainy Day

Made this cinematic to evaluate and demonstrate the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5's simulation tools, procedural rain, specifically leveraging Niagara FX and physics systems within Sequencer for real-time VFX integration.

Lighting

Redesigned the scene's lighting from scratch to dynamically showcase a 'Easy Rain' real-time rain system, leveraging Unreal Engine's rendering capabilities to enhance atmospheric immersion.

Maya XGen - Unreal Engine

Modeled and groomed character hair assets in Maya, then implemented them in Unreal Engine using XGen interactive groom workflows and UE5's hair shading system.

Niagara Effects Breakdown

 

Designed a complex magic spell interaction by layering and blending multiple Niagara effects in sequencer. Combined elements like particle emitters, ribbon trails, and dynamic lighting to create a cohesive and visually striking effect
